Sheffield South East is a parliamentary constituency in the City of Sheffield, first used in the General Election 2010. It succeeded the existing Sheffield Attercliffe represented by the Labour MP Clive Betts following boundary changes in the South Yorkshire region recommended by The Boundary Commission for the next General Election.

Boundaries

Sheffield Attercliffe covered much of the east and south east of the city including the wards of Beighton, Birley, Darnall, Mosborough, Woodhouse, and parts of Richmond ward.

Following the review into parliamentary representation in South Yorkshire, the new Sheffield South East consists of the electoral wards of Beighton, Birley, Darnall, Mosborough, and Woodhouse.

History

Sheffield Attercliffe constituency was created when the Sheffield constituency was split into five in 1885.
